@shortiebs, I just feel like in the space we are in we don't need more than one when we don't know what the future holds. At least with one he can just be so spoiled and he can get all the attention and gifts without having to share it. Children are expensive and the only way we will have another is if we both have like awesome jobs like doctors or something but thats not happening. It is only going to get more expensive as time goes on.

that was my plan with my son too.... so easy with one! but then 6 years later I had my baby girl and then another girl and now I'm having a boy lol guess God had a different plan for me! 😁

I was thinking same. Not really gifts or spoiled but we can have a comfortable lifestyle. Family vacations, nice neighborhoods, college. Only thing is i wanted 1 boy and 1 girl. My first is a boy too. Which was my first choice. So i dnt know if i want to gamble for another boy (ill love him anyway)

I wanted another baby because my daughter is 2 and talks full sentences, in potty trained except for nights, doesn't use zippy cups no more, and is just so independent. I figured it would be so good for her to have a sibling to play with and to share her secrets with and let their imagination grow. :) I remember so many good memories when I was little of my and my little brother playing together our whole childhood and now we are still super close. @shortiebs, its just everything to me. I don't want for him to feel left out if we have another, or I don't want him to feel as if he is in competition.

@mommiesworld, that was my initial feeling but I just don't want to be in the same space in 5 yrs which is our time frame and then have another child.
