Uh that is your choice unless something is medically wrong and requires a c section I would refuse it no matter how much they say the baby weighs... A c section should only be used for last resort I see so many doctors that want to jump straight to c section with everything these days cause it's faster and they can get it over with sooner... But it's your baby your body and your choice... I have seen some of the smallest women give birth to 11 pound babies and their doctors try to tell them beforehand it would be impossible for them... Doctors don't know everything

If you go into labor and it starts to stress her out too much then yes they will give you one but not just based on weight, my daughter was 8lb 15oz and I wouldn't dilate passed 4cm and it started to become stressful on her and I so we had an emergency c-section.

@expecting2015, no, they just said that she still has time to turn but around 34-35 weeks is when they start to worry if she's still breached @ak16 well hopefully she turns head down and won't be as big as I think 😭

Did they give you an estimated weight right now? I thought My 2nd was gonna be pretty big because her kicks were hurtful turns out she was only 6lb 12oz and really strong lol

@ak16, at 28 weeks she was 2lb 11 oz, at 29 weeks and 6 days, she was 3lb 10 oz. 😭 that's why I think she's going to be big
