it was horrible because they didn't make my child's cord wast around neck which it was than they didn't want to give me medicine so I ha her naturally which is beyond painful so yeah never again
Intense. I didn't try to do birthing classes so I didn't even know what to do when it was pushing time. I don't remember, but they wanted to induce me early but I told them I wanted my son due in his due date, so they started the induction process at 12am, gave me the vaginal pill to help ripen the cervix at 2am, then again at 6am, didn't feel any contractions into around 12pm I think? I can tell you when they break your water it will be the oddest feeling ever (ever see someone on an above ground pool hit the edge and watch the water come gushing out? It's like that). Then I was in so much pain from the pitocin they gave me a shot && then gave me the epidural so I was reeeeaaalllyyyyy out of it. By then the pain was gone though. I was put on oxygen towards the end, I had a hard time pushing so they got my son out with help from the vacuum, and placed him on oxygen, cleaned him and brought him to me. I remember him coming out didn't hurt as much as the stitches did. I tore pretty bad && I had a 5 pound baby. That's why this time around I'm hoping I can wait until I go into natural labor, or just get a c section. Everyone is different though. Not everyone has a bad experience.
Everyone is different, I personally was induced because I had PUPPPS and was in my 39th week. They broke my water and got things moving and I was flying high and oddly enough had a great time. Watched a Fresh Prince marathon and cracked jokes at the doctor and nurses. When it was time to push i had her out in about 20 minutes or so. Hardly tore. Might have pooped. All in all I can't complain.
Worst pain of my life. I literally died 500 times. They put a string in me overnight and I woke up with intense cramps and it got worse n worse and turned into contractions. That artificial dialation is no joke

But I had my baby 3 days later and forgot about the pain at the moment when I looked at his face :)
