@junebaby, she lowered the dose but wont let me get off of it. She is a bad obgyn. But i haven't found a new one yet. She gives it to like all her paitents..

One - how can you be sure she gives it to all her patients? Two - progesterone is essential to a healthy pregnancy and can treat other conditions so I wouldn't just stop taking it. Maybe your levels will drop without it causing an issue. Honestly, I would just be careful before you do something risky and could negatively effect your baby/pregnancy.

I'm on progesterone and I'm 23w. without it, I could have a miscarriage. progesterone is essential for the body when pregnant. I wouldn't just stop taking it without consulting her.

She gives it to my sister who is pregnant too, and I always here them talking about how so and so needs to come in for their progesterone shots. But yes it probably wouldnt be smart to quit taking it but I just dont see why I should still be on it, I had spotting around 7 weeks but that was over 20 weeks ago lol. Thank you. Yeah I hear you about not taking anything unless you have to - but considering its supporting/helping the pregnancy I wouldn't be as concerned. Especially since you had low levels at one time - you never know without the pill it may come back! I guess I always think better safe than sorry you know? But I'm conservative about that type of stuff.
