@lee0924, the most painful part was that I was on a 10 pitocin drip for 48hrs. Near the end the contractions were right on top of each other. But really, it wasn't that bad. I had a hard time with the blood pressure cuff, it was actually bruising my arm. And it really hurt me to be checked for dilation, but actual birth was painful, yeah, but it was very....serene, almost. My body just did what it was made to do.
Exactly that. Most hospital won't do it so u have to find a hospital that does it/ birthing center. They keep the tub warm around 90° at all time. You can get in & out the tub whenever u want. The environment was very intimate low light, slow music, lavender candle& it was pretty much my bf & I in the room minus the midwives. When it was time to give birth, I got comfortable in any position (doggy) & my bf put his hands down there. The midwives stayed close by but it was really me & him that delivered the baby it was magical.
Thanks mommies @mommyofaking you said water birth, what's that? I think you mean when you have it in a tub or something but how do they go about doing it
I had an all natural birth as well. Best decision I made! I was able to get up and walk to give my daughter her first bath, take a shower a couple hours after birth, etc. Not two hours after she was born I had decided that I'd do it again. I highly recommend it! I was worried that I'd give in, but I was so set on it, nothing could sway me. You can do anything you put your mind to!
It's an amazing feeling. I put it in my head from the moment I found out I was prego & it's one of my best accomplishment in my life. I had an all natural water birth. You can do it. ☺️☺️
I got meds with my baby because i couldn't take it ,but I was so numb I couldn't even push really ,I had no feeling,I want the real experience @babygirl10-11
