Gerber Baby College Savings Plan: Is It Worth It?

I have one for my 13 year old and just sent off for my 3 month old it doesn't earn as much interest but it's a little something. I also plan to get another insurance policy that earns more interest that can be borrowed against

Would you recommend it? Or do you know of a better one? We're tight-ish on money, but I think it's important to start at lest something @Gina g918

Just make sure you get one that is tax deductible. That way you can get some money back for doing so :)

Sure - I know there is one that I talked to my accountant about - think it's called the Coverdell Education Savings account or 529 but it's based on income. If you call any accountant/Google it/ or use turbotax help - they should be able to tell you. There are actually a lot of tax credits if you don't make a lot too (with kids). This way both of you benefit!
