Has anyone ever had loc extensions? I was trying to find some way to manage my hair after baby is born and I got them done on Wednesday. I have been in excruciating pain since then from how tight they are. They girl that did them says its normal and that the pain will go away as my hair grows out and they loosen. I've had box braids and twists and NEVER had this problem. It's causing me to loose sleep but I don't want to take them out if I ca help it since I paid a lot of money for them. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? Maybe from personal experience? I tried hot water and it didn't help 😖😥😓

hot towel and oil will help loosen them

Girl that's how faux locs are. Thy have to do it super tight so it will stay. I've had mines done 3 times. I used coconut oil in my scalp to help it loosen up.

@briandavisjr819, that hasn't helped me so far, but thanks for the advice! Maybe I'll have to be more consistent with it @trezelle how long did it take the pain to go away for you? I've been putting coconut oil on my scalp multiple times a day and it doesn't seem to help much 😣

Yea they are very painful. My sister took them down the same week.

@sexxymama83, I wish I woulda done more research on them before getting them. Uff they are hella painful!
