That is just so sad, whyyy the hell did he do something like that! Like how does one plan to go shoot people at a movie! I will never understand it, have they sentenced him???

My husband has a theory of what happened. If you read about the case and his trial you'll know the guy who did it had no memory of those events taking place, even getting the gun and dressing up. Now there is this drug called Scopolamine it is very real, powerful, and absolutely terrifying. It is odorless, colorless, takes effect immediately, and finding any trace of it in someone's system is nearly impossible. What it does is block all free-will you have, cleans your memory for the next 24 hours more or less depending on dose, it can kill you too. Under its influence someone can make you do anything they tell you to do, it's like you're in a trance playing as a puppet with no control and no awareness, and afterwards you have no memory of what transpired. The reason my husband believes that man could have been drugged and forced to do those horrendous acts is because of that guy's demeanor, expression, attitude, and response during the trial. He exhibited all the details of a person that has lost their memory, not something that can be so easily faked. And yes the guy was sentenced, and he didn't fight it. But if he really was drugged what else could he have done if not take the guilt, I mean imagine you had no memory and all these people are telling you and showing how you murdered innocent children they have your prints, cameras with your face, and found all these guns in your home, how would you respond? So if all of that is true the question would be who drugged him and why make him do terrible acts? There is a lot of fucked up shit in the world and there will always be evil-doers. @alicia91

@loveless Yeah and even then, it had to be premeditated because he didnt get all those guns overnight or under any influence. He could've drugged himself, too. But even then, if the drug only has effects for 24 hours, theres just no way to plan it so carefully. I do believe though that he's not right upstairs in some way! Its just so sad though that yeah if he really doesnt remember then it must be just awful.
