I just had mine yesterday and my dr just went over my records with me asked me about any issues since my last appointment addressed those issues and talked to me about what to expect the rest of my pregnancy. That was my experience.
I saw a nurse my first appointment and all we did was go over family health history and yours and hubs/bf/fiance health history. asked if I was gonna breast feed and did a lot of blood work. good luck!
That's good! They wouldn't let me see the nurse practitioner had to wait for the dr to get back from vacation! Ended up switching to a male dr just so I could get in sooner because my transfer was super crazy and I hadn't seen anyone in 2 months!

@queenmother, thank you! But I'm not meeting with the actual doctor today, just her nurse practitioner, apparently. So they could get me in sooner. 😩
