august mommy's : any y'all take Castro oil ?? If so how did it work for you?

I was 41 weeks and I mixed 4 tablespoons with apple juice

I tried it the a couple days before my due date. gave me the runs and made me puke. 41 weeks and 3 days pregnant now so didn't work.. I wouldn't recommend you feel horrible for hours and it's not a guarantee.

and castor oil is found in the meds aisle with the other laxatives.

@bbyluvbump101, I was 1 day away from being 42 weeks I was supposed to get induced that Monday but I drank the oil Friday night had my baby Saturday afternoon ... and yes made me poop all night but it worked

yeah that probably is better because it doesn't taste as weird lol. walking a lot helped me dilate quicker. and I think castor oil works mostly if you are over due. but then again you never know because baby can come any day so it could be coincidence. but at the same time being over 41 weeks a lot of things can set of labor

yea it doesn't always work I know a few girls who took it and only pooped a lot...but I figured if it worked for my mom and my grandma it would work for me and it did lol
