I've been thinking of doing a gender reveal party so today I sat down and hammered out all the details from start to finish. Just waiting to hear back from the hall. The helium tank cost more than everything else combined.
I also had the niece and nephews over for a swim and packed up half my living room. (That is where we have been throwing everything from every other room that didn't seem to have a place so it was FULL AND MESSY)
YAY ME! I feel so accomplished.

@tater4414, what did you do for yours? I'm not really confident. I don't have any party planning skills. I'm hoping everything works out. Most of the people we are inviting were at my wedding and my wedding was a disaster. We are inviting friends because our families hate each other so it will break some of the tention.

haha don't worry I didn't either lol!! I did cupcakes blue and pink and punch and a gender reveal box! I just invited family and 1 girl and her family that I count as family she was my brides maid so yah know lol ;p anyways not many people showed up cause our families hate each other too and his family really doesn't like me but whatevs I still loved it!!

They have disposable ones at walmart for $20 you can buy 2 small ones for the price of one big one! I got them for my baby shower and it worked really well

@tater4414, that sounds like it was such a great time. We are having ours at a brunch and my sister is filling a brownie cake with the color m&ms;. We are putting up a tally board so people can write their predictions. Great idea, wearing the color you hope it is. I will have to consider that. Though he flip flops and I know if I wear blue and it's pink I will look especially disappointed lol
@breeeanna thanks. That's still more than the price of everything else lol. I just looked and couldn't find what you were talking about but the one I'm looking at is only 42$ so it's no biggy. I think we only need 30 balloons blown up and where 4 of them are mylar balloons I'm thinking the medium one is best.

I actually got a small one for $19.95 at my walmart and I filled up 65 balloons with it! Try looking at the actually store in the party stuff!

oh I love that idea!!! we had everyone wear the color they thought it was just for fun but I LOVE the tally idea so much better!!!!

The price may be different out there. MA is fairly expensive compared to the other states I've lived in.
