I went through the same thing. my baby weaned herself. she loved the bottle more because it gave her more like right now. sometimes it happens that way. you could see what his pediatrician says. i think it's not really bad, just means he's a big eater.

Did you breastfeed?? If so how did you maintain your supply? I'm worried about that 😕

I was only able to bf for 2 months before she weaned. she's been on straight formula for about 4 months now. I could not find a way to keep my supply steady. I tried, mothers milk tea, fenugreek pills, drinking lots of water and feeding when hungry. she just didn't want it anymore

I'd ask @californiahaley, she's been breast feeding tannon for over a year now. 😊

Like @firstbaby_girl said bottles are faster then breast and if you're switching between the two baby may prefer bottles they become "lazy eaters" bottles basically just leak into the mouth baby doesn't have to do much and some prefer that. When baby starts pushing away are you switching to the other breast? Do you feed from both sides per feeding or just one? The best way to keep your supply up is supply and demand the more baby nurses the more you'll have milk.

Yes I try to switch sides and he gets frustrated it seems like but when I pump after I get like five ounces out. So should I not use bottles as much? I try to not I only use one before bed but lately I've been so frustrated that I give him a bottle @californiahaley it sucks

I would stop giving bottles all together until your nursing relationship is stronger. Your letdown probably isn't very fast there for he's having to actually work at getting milk when he doesn't with a bottle the more he gets a bottle the less he'll want your breast. It's kinda causing nipple confusion in a way. So I'd stop using bottles all together and when he get frustrated hand express a little in his mouth so he knows milks there still
