Almost a week late but here's my labor story👓📚:

July 27th, I was feeling some contractions. I decided to go in. I was only dialated 1cm, so they decided to send me home, around 11pm. I woke up around 4:40am to my water breaking. After showering, and getting everything ready, we got to the hospital around 9am. Contractions getting a little more stronger but tolerable. Started getting very intense contractions so i got morphine in my IV, around 8pm that night. I was really trying to hold out on the epidural, but I gave in lol. Had to wait about 3 hours for the anesthesiologist to come, took them almost 3 hours to get the epidural in. Finallly the did And I felt way better. I slept for a bit...by about 5 am I woke up in pain. The epidural had worn off. The doc came in and checked me.. and unfortunately I was STILL only 5cm. The baby was still surrounded by a bag of water, so she broke it and then the real contractions started. I was in sooooo much fckn pain. They had to call anesthesiologists again, got the epidural but the pressure was killing me. Two hours later, doc checked me and I only dialted to 6cm. Another two hours go by, still 6cm. At that point I had been in labor for 36 hours. So we had to do a c-section. Guys gave me more meds, and we were of to the OR. Don't remember too much, just bright lights, me shaking tremendously, the pressure of baby girl being removed, her first cry, and all the commotion of daddy cutting the cord and getting pics. (I also was told that I lost a lot of blood).

Summer Julyenne Bovenzi was born July 29th @ 8:23pm weighing 9 pounds, 7.3 oz, and 20 inches long. Seeing her, holding her for the first time was the best experience of my life. And even tho I'm in horrible pain, I'd do it all over again, knowing the she was the one I carried all those months.

Unfortunately the next day, baby girl and I caught fevers and a slight infection due to my water being broken for so long. Summer had to have an iv line put in her umbilical cord and her oxygen levels were a little low. She's been in the NICU for 5 days now & she's been doing soooooo good that tomorrow she comes home! I can't wait😊👌😘💕😘😍
