How long did you guys wait to have sex after having a baby?

The doctor usually say to wait 6 weeks but with my son I think I waited like 5 days and with my daughter waited two weeks

as soon as you feel ready and healed go at it.

@ce5ce, I had to have two stitches. it's been 7 days. how long does it take to desolve?

I had a small one and it took 3 weeks for the swelling and everything to go away

It's not swollen or hurting anymore. It was hurting awful @ce5ce

I had like 4 stiches & a second degree tear. Lol i was scared i waited like 3-4 months

then if you feel ready then go for it. Im going to this weekend on our little vacation before my check up in case I have questions and concerns

My 6 week checkup isn't u til September 10th @ce5ce

oh wow you healed quick... I wouldn't recommend it if your still bleeding though. could cause infection because most likely your insides are still healing
