can't sleep been feeling restless these last few days. my doctor wants to induce me at 39 weeks but I'm so scared. I just nodded cause I couldn't find my words. I'm scared it will hurt and yes I'm a big baby sometimes. I can tolerate pain but I hear the pitocin makes it worse. Part of me wants it done and over with and to see my little girl. But the other half is like be patient and let her do what she has to do. Lol these are things I wish my mom was around for but she wants nothing to do with me or her grand daughter. I'm just scared shitless and going over everything repeatedly.

Don't be scared ❤️ I was induced with my first and it honestly wasn't bad at all. The pitocin sucks buuuut if you take the pain meds they give you and get the epidural, you pretty much float through it. I watched a Fresh Prince marathon and cracked jokes the whole time. Lots of moms have to be induced, you are gonna do just fine 😘

Do some research on being induced vs waiting and make the decision that's right for you ❤️ personally I was induced with my first and after doing research this time I'm waiting 😊

thanks just worried so many things going through my head like what if I'm not a good mom and I know it's silly but my mom was never there growing up and wish she was. my friends are like oh it was horrible and I'm like if it needs to be done it needs to be done even if I waited I have no complications at all and I don't want her in stress ya know

I've looked it up and did the research just I know the doc knows best and I trust him to make the right decision just worried thats all having a child doesn't make the choice any easier Lol let's just hope I can tolerate pain

I didn't think it made the contractions hurt worse than they normally would have. I have experienced both natural and induced contractions, and it was about the same. The pitocin just helps regulate and get things moving if it's taking a while, or in my case so I can get my group b antibiotics since I have such fast labors. If I go into labor naturally then I don't have time for the four hours of medication. Don't be scared, you will be fine momma
