Lol I know the feeling and yes they need to stay in the tummy as long as possible to fully develop the lungs and brain .. I was told I may have to deliver early depending on my doppler flow for my placenta so I have had steroid shots for babies lungs , but I keep telling my body we can do this we need to keep him in as long as possible and so far 3 weeks later my readings are way better than that of 29 weeks !! My first boy was born at 39+6 and was completely healthy no problems scored 9 out of 10 on his APGAR !!
My friend had to have her baby early at 37 weeks and baby ended up having acid reflux because she wasn't developed well she ended up puking the acid reflux up but it was stuck in her throat and she stopped breathing , the ambulance whisked her away her mom called me panicking asking me to take the other kids , they almost lost her because he wasn't quite done baking . She stayed in the NICU for a week . Thank goodness everything turned out okay but how scary !! @danamarie
Yes that's very common with premature babies! Glad to hear she is ok. Just wish others would do the research before they make such ridiculous statements!
I don't really understand how people can say it's not selfish to try and induce before a certain time. I just don't see how anyone is willing to risk their babies health or life because it is convenient or Uncomfortable for them... 😣

I think people are just ignorant to the long term effects that can happen by having a baby early. Which is sad.
