so I woke up yesterday feeling pretty bummed 😢that I wasn't in labor yet so I go to my appointment at 940 my mom comes with me and we schedule and induction well it would have been the 7th but they were booked then the 8th and they were booked so the next day was the 9th funny thing my mom's birthday🎂🎂 is the 9th well my ob wasn't there and I got a new nurse and she did a membrane sweep (which sucked BTW 😖😖) so I felt completely fine not even pain from the sweep so we go to Walmart I needed to get the bumper for the crib and a baby bath any way and we got groceries 🍖🍗🍞🍌🍏🍅🍓🍉 so we walk around all of walmart for about 2 and a half hours I got primrose oil tablets and poked holes in one and stuck it up my 😽... lol and I remembered I needed to go to the bank so I got up and went to the bank and I started to feel my hips in pain and I told my husband I couldn't drive as soon as we got in the car it was 5:05 pm I felt my first contraction we got home and I stayed home for about an hour and a half my contractions were completely irregular and I didn't want to risk getting sent back home but my husband calls labor and delivery to tell them we are coming. i get to the hospital a little after 7pm they put me on monitors. they tell me my contractions are irregular and they might send me home. as soon as the nurse said that the other nurses come running in and roll me on my side throw oxygen on me and put an IV in my arm and one nurse says we are admitting you and goes over the whole admition paper work the doctor says your baby's heart 💙rate keeps dropping below normal and we wanna get him out as soon as possible and explains that if they need to they might have to do a c section.😓😓 8:45pm so they take me to the delivery room and measure me at 3 cm (I was at 2 for the last 3 weeks) so they start me on oxytocin and I sit in the room and start having more and more pains from 9pm to about 1am I had painful but not to much to handle contractions then all of a sudden I couldn't take it anymore 🙅😭😫😭😫 lol my natural idea went out the window and I started yelling I want the epidural!!! they finally gave me one seemed like it took them a few hours to do it but it was actually only 10 mins I didn't notice my contractions were 2 to 5 mins apart which made it seem like forever i was waiting. she had to try two times to put it in because i was crying so hard thru the first one because i had a contraction right when she started so I didn't listen all that well. lol so then I was OK at about 330 am she told me that I would need to let them know if I felt pressure like I needed to poo💩 she checked me and I was 9 cm at 445am. so they put the delivery table together and waited I said woah I feel it!! and crazy enough 1 push and he just fell out lol 5:19am August 1,2015 6 lbs 15oz 19 1/4 inches long.
