If I didn't think my husbands ex-wife was stupid I do now...she thinks she's gonna get calworks…

u cant get child support and aid they will only give her 50 bucks amd even if she got off aid she still couldnt get it until he has completely paid off the aid she received and they will have to take your baby into consideration so she won't get that much shes dumb lol

Where I live you don't have to go to court for CalWorks you just go down to the welfare office and you can basically lie your ass off and they believe you. She can be saying he makes a certain amount and they'll believe her. If yall are paying her child support and it's court ordered then they'll immediately deny her for CalWorks. But if the child support you pay her isn't court ordered then she will probably lie to them and say yall don't give her CS. Then she will be collecting CalWorks and it will go against your husband and he will have to pay the state back. Sorry if you already knew all this stuff lol I just wanted to let you know...I used to work for the Child Support office in my county and bitches do crazy shit to try and collect CalWorks on top of child support. Just be careful so your hubby doesn't get screwed!

@babygirl10-11, I know that because thats what I get for my 9 year old lol....she's crazy! She said us being married and my baby don't matter till her or she is born...

@queendavis, she been getting calworks since he was born. Never had a court order because my hubby has always bought what she asked for...even now we buy clothes etc for our home and hers. We got a baby on the way so now she wants cash money....I been through this with my daughters dad so I'm aware lol...she owns a cloth diapering business too...He ain't trippin about paying child support but she will get less by taking us to court then what she been getting outside of court...she set on that $400 tho..she gon look dumb!

Oh gosh that's crazy! I'm glad you know the ropes then!!! How is she getting CalWorks tho? Cause your husband will have to pay that back to the state and if he's working she shouldn't be able to get it especially if he pays her! And yeah I see moms all money hungry and not cool with what their ex's give them in child support, then they take them to court and end up getting even less! It's crazy.
