theres a chance i might have preeclampsia has anyone else had it and can explain more about it to me

i didnt experience it but my bestfriend did. her blood pressure was very high , and she had protein in her urine like 2+ , and her feet ankles and legs we're swollen from the fluid. she had to be induced.(thats all I know)

I usually end up getting it at the end of my pregnancies, I did with my two, I just get really high bp.

how high is your blood pressure ?? and how much protein. ? cause having high blood pressure isnt a good thing.

its been 142/90 and protein idk but i went last friday to labor and delivery cuz they found protein so its been a week and a few days my last last appointment was wensday they order a 24 urine collection wich i been doing all day i have a appointment tommrow so i was wondering will i be induced or if there was a need to worry

i wouldn't worry they are most likely going to monitor your blood pressure if it stay high, but if it doesnt get better in time then you will most likely get induced for you and the babies health. Butbsince you have an appointment tomorrow then I would say just relax ..

@ariz811, I had it and was induced the day they cought it! It can be dangerous for the baby yes. I was at 37 weeks I do believe when they induced me. I had a regular OB appt and they cought it and sent me straight to LD, had him that next morning at like 4 am. I only got it towards the end of my pregnancy though.
