What is the big deal about spanking you child? People always want to go extreme and say it's abuse?!…

I don't have to spank my kids either but I did pop them a few times when they were toddlers.

I have no problem with a quick spanking I'm more mindful of when it should be done ....I know a lot of parents who will shank their kids for stupid stuff...I only do it when he wants to test the waters and he starts smelling himself a little lol @jomommaclark

there's a difference between abuse and discipline . I will try other ways before spanking. but I will if need be lol.

I agree if it's needed i don't have a problem with discipline mines 10/8 they know better. And time out isn't for me. Lol

I totally agree. There are times kids need to be popped on the butt. My niece called hubby a ni**er, and it wasn't the slang word and I said she needed to be popped in the mouth and his whole family started yelling at me like I said I was gonna stab her!

I believe if my kids are acting up and if I told them to stop already then they will get spanked but I wouldn't ever abuse them . but you can't always let kids get away with things and time outs dont always work.

now a days you can't even pop you're kids hand in public they'll call child services and they'll take you're kids away !! its stupid. last time I checked child abuse was when you scarred a kid for life or something. my husband is on a year probation and paying 100 a month for spanking his kid because of his ex's butthole family. She left for mexico with no sign of coming back and left her kid here so we were trying to keep her so poor child didn't have to be passed around between her moms sisters. but they got mad and looked for an opportunity to fuck him over.

Oh yeah I remember the belt! That shit kept me in line. Got smacked with it one time and I said nope not again! I think people don't know the different between swatting kids enough that they feel it and it scares them a little and actually abusing the kid. And honestly if you ask a 5 yr old if it hurt when mommy/daddy spanked them they're gonna say yes regardless of of whether it only stung or scared them
