So if you have the baby with no pain meds and you tear, when they stitch you up, does it hurt? 😭

no not really just a lil burn .... I didn't even notice I was still in shock from doing it all natural lol

they numbed me, but i did go natural all the way through..

They numbed me a little bit when they did the stitches just some local anesthetic. I still felt it but it didn't hurt :)

they didn't tell me my doctor just did it after you have the baby their still all up in your parts making sure there is no placenta left inside and that you bleeding isn't to heavy so you won't even notice

I went all natural- no epidural and no IV. I didn't tear but they cut me a little, before they cut me they gave me a shot down there to numb the area he was about to cut. So I think when they were stitching me I was still a little numb cuz I didn't feel it really besides a little tugging. But it didn't hurt at all!

@queendavis, how long were you in labor for? I think I have a high pain tolerance lol. 😭 sometimes..

They numb u first u feel a little sting from the needle then nothing while they stitch u up

Yea that's the easy part.

I was in labor for two hours and it was mostly at home. I got to the hospital and my son was born 20 mins later and ten mins of that consisted of pushing. I didn't have a choice about going all natural, there was no time for epidural or an IV. But I am SO glad I did all natural. It was amazing. The worst part is contractions, they hurt but it's tolerable since you have breaks in between them. Honestly you just gota stay in your head and not freak the fuck out. The key is to be calm and focus, and BREATH! Pushing isn't bad because it's a big relief on your body! I honestly think you should go for it! I'm doing all natural with my second as well :) it's such an empowering feeling and you're able to get up and walk around right after! I think the drugs honestly prolong the whole process plus you aren't in control of your body which isn't helpful when pushing!

@queendavis, I also want bragging rights to use when talking to my boyfriend lmao. Like yeah you had total reconstruction on your acl, MCL and meniscus but I pushed a baby out of me with no pain meds, boom. 😂 I really do want to do all natural though! Do they let us play music? that usually calms me when I focus on that. It's settled, go hard or go home. all natural it is!

yes they let u play music well I think ... my labor was 3 hrs and 2 1/2 of that was at home my water broke at 1230am got to the hospital at 1251am I was 8 1/2 cm and had my baby at 125am she came so fast my doctor didn't make it a nurse delivered me daughter lol

@babygirl10-11, how do you know how long to wait at home before going in??

I wanted to be updating I did a few times before it got to painful cuz it was only mild contractions at first when they were 5 mins apart but when my water broke they jumped from 5 to 0 they were non stop I thought she was coming out in the car and my hubby was screaming close your legs lol

@babygirl10-11, so when they're five minutes apart, then go in? a bath will help right? 😭

when there every 10 mins call your doctor I can't remember the time to go in I always waited till I couldn't take the pain or my water broke

I took a shower this time and I only got worse my contractions picked up while in there

with my first baby I was in active labor at home for 7 hrs before I went in and I only went cuz my water broke

you think you won't know but when the time comes you will know exactly what to do... I was surprised at myself with my first baby lol I kept my labor a secret cuz I didnt want my mom to rush me in I wanted to labor at home for long as possible and I did I got the the hospital at 6am and had my baby at 1pm ... seems long but I went so fast considering the day before I was not dilated or effaced or even having contractions not even braxton hicks lol good ole castor oil put me in labor

So far I have had all six of mine with no pain medication and I have never tore or cut. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables, they help make your skin more elasticy and do your kegals all the time they help tremendously also and help the area heal better. I am hoping I will be able to have these twins natural also. Your body heals faster if you don't use pain medication I think, as soon as I can I am in the shower and walking around lol

You will, just stay focused. It's easy to go for the medication lol. Don't let your mind let the pain take over, stay focused on your breathing that is what will get you through it. Once you lose focus on that then it's all over. The breathing helps keep you calm, and the more calm your body is the less it hurts. The worst part for me is the pressure and not being able to push right away, it sucks. Don't really hurt it's just uncomfortable and when that happens you know it's almost time to push. And thank you very much!!!!

after my first I had the epidural and I was up walking around 15 mins after I had him and this last baby I was up within minutes to .... labors not that bad and yes kegals lots of em they will help in labor and help your lady parts be back their original form maybe even better lol

@natesgirl, @babygirl10-11 I really hope they let me listen to music, that helps calm me down 😭 what are kegals? and how many times do I do them?

kegals are the muscles you use to hold your pee in so just squeeze and release ... I do mine all day like I'll do 20 then rest a little and then do some more .... and I think they will let u play music

Girly you'll be in so much pain with those contractions that you'll ask for an epidural as soon as you can lol not trying to scare you just being honest. Unless you can cope with massive pain

@brimorales, I think I have a good pain tolerance, I always decide to ride things out, I don't like medicine :( lol. But we'll see!

That's good! I was never good with pain so as soon as that first real contraction hit me I could not move and would not move. Let me know how it goes ☺️
