Does anyone know if there is a common time span in which you have your baby ? I'm trying to figure…

I'd say between 38-40 weeks

@lovebuggg2016, that's what I'm thinking too. I just don't wanna go past 40 weeks! Lol.

They usually induce you if you do or if they think you might. The absolute most they would let you go is 1 week after.

@lovebuggg2016, Thats what I've heard. But my friend who has the same doctor as I do let her go to 42 weeks!

I would do at least 38 weeks because if you do go into labor before that you miss zero time. I took mine at 39 weeks but never actually got there because I had him at 38 weeks so I have the full amount of time now with him

That's crazy! I'd be begging to be induced at that point.

@lovebuggg2016, Right! I would almost want to just get induced on my due date if he hadn't come by then.

That's how I feel! Hopefully he does for you though! I'll will be doing everything I can to induce labor at that point.

@edomke very true. My ideal situation would be to leave the day before I have him, but I'm already so uncomfortable. And I have a desk job sitting for 11 hours straight, and it kills me sitting all day.

I was a stylist so I was extremely miserable but I sucked it up and damn it was worth it. I would wait as long as possible 😀

@edomke, You're so right. If you can do it standing up all day, I'm gonna shut up and try for as long as I can.

Yes, this will be my first. I had a miscarriage in March so everything scares me now. I'm lucky everything has been going good this far. It's scary but exciting. I plan on doing the natural stuff, sex which I hate right now, walking, and bouncing on the ball. Hopefully all of the will work and baby girl will come on her own.

@ashleycoronel, I'm with you! I wanna work up until labor. I'm hoping the last two weeks my doc will be able to give me a note stating I should be driving or traveling an hour away everyday so hopefully I can work from home leading up to labor and have my full 16 weeks with my newborn

@lovebuggg2016, I'm so sorry to hear that. Your little one is in my prayers and is going to be just fine :) Fingers crossed our babies come out healthy at a decent time !

@cwilly Ooh, that would be really nice ! My boss told me that I could technically take up to 6 months off, but I would feel so bad doing that. 😁

@ashleycoronel, sheesh I would feel bad too but I don't think I could pass up that offer lol! It would give me the whole summer n spring off!

@cwilly Lol, right. They think I'm not gonna come back if I take off 6 months though 😂 I'm getting paid time off. But only like 75% of my paycheck.

I told them at my work my last day would b the day before my due date...which is Friday...but there is nothing they can legally do to u if u go before that and my work said if I didn't have her before that I could continue to work til I had her...I had to give them a 30 day notice so that's y I decided for the day before my due date...work as long as u can so u can have more time with baby after they get here...
