I was in the same position but I decided to buy a things and just have all baby shower be diapers and gift cards. And the option of clothing with a set size for each one. It actually helped a lot because those that wanted to buy us something specific called and asked about it and we got exactly what we wanted plus I was able to find so many deals

@countrycupcake111215, That's actually a really good idea! I wish I had thought of that beforehand. One of my baby shower's is going to be a baby-Q like a barbecue and we're just going to do a diaper raffle at that one. And the other two I just registered for a bunch of stuff, so hopefully I get most of what I need. My last baby shower is when I'm 38 weeks though. 😞

Honestly my boyfriend thought of it. We just had one a week ago and have another one next week my last one is at 33weeks. Thankfully I'll have a little extra time I wish I would have been able to register for gifts but both of our families are farmers which mean they have no clue how to run those. So I was very afraid for awhile about gifts. But it's turned out OK so far most everyone is ok with it set up that way. If you do wanna shop just shop for the little things or things that you didn't add to your registry. Seems like everyone forgets one or two things. @ashleycoronel

Yeah that was my other fear as well. And you can always save receipts in case you end up with doubles
