Dr's appt today ... they are doing a swab test to check baby for infections? they said it's a standard test before baby is born anyone know or had this done ? kinda nervous!

Is it the Strep B one? If so all pregnant women get it :) at least all the pregnant women I know! Lol

It's the gbs test, just a swab real quick. But you need to know because if you test positive you need antibiotics before delivery

yes very important. I have it with this pregnancy so as soon as my water breaks or I go into labor I have to get antibiotics. it's nothing serious If you get the antibiotics.
