I read an article about a baby being permanently blinded by pictures being take while the flash from the camera/phone was on, due to the LED light. Am I the only person who read this?

i heard it from nicu nurses that phone screens and led flashes are harmful if exposed to long periods of time

@expecting2015, It scared me too. So I'll pass on ppl taking pictures. So they can't even accidentally forget they're flash is on.

@expecting2015, No, its not. The LED light in the flash is what is harmful. Without the flash its not & you shouldn't put the camera to close to the baby's face.

how would that be harmful? i meant try to take them in well lit areas so you dont need a flash... their eyes are still developing even after they are born...
