Has anyone breast fed and their baby was able to still have a pacifier and not gotten confused ?? Everyone has told me…

I breastfed and my baby used bottles and pacifiers she never had a issue with using any .. and a lot of hospitals no longer give out pacifiers due to nipple confusion

My daughter was fine, no confusion, I didn't give her one though until she wad like 3 weeks, now 9 months she doesn't take a paci anymore it just wad a pain when she was little and would fall out of her mouth and wake her up so I just took it away, then she started using me as a paci (while breastfeeding)so I tried to give her one back and she refused it and still doesn't use one till this day

I exclusively breastfeed my son and he uses a pacifier too and is just fine! He took it at the beginning but then kind of lost interest and then regained interest at like 3 months. It's actually nice because he uses me as a pacifier less which saves my boobs! Haha

my daughter has never had any confusion. i just rotate so she doesn't get a preference.

yes my son is a month a we do both ...babies know the titties lol

my son does both plus the bottle. and he's not confused at all

@tierlarie That's how my son was also! That's why this time I wanna stock up on pacifiers because he always used me as a pacifier and I don't want this baby using me as one this time lol

Yes it is definitely nice not having him use me as a pacifier anymore! haha and easier to put him down to sleep now.
