quick question!!
Today my son got home from Hospital (NICU) but they told me they feed him every 3 hrs but I have noticed every 2 hrs he starts eating his hand or SUCKING the corner of the blanket.
can I feed him them or wait the 3 hrs....

I'm not sure about nicu babies but the nurse at the hospital told me to just feed my baby when he's hungry, that was for breastfeeding though not sure if its different.

You are best to start feeding as soon as you notice your baby being hungry. If they get too hungry then that's when they get super fussy and it is hard to calm them down to feed

you can feed him if his hungry or try the pacifier to see if he can hold off if not it won't be a problem because my baby girl does that too, and I asked her therapist and said it's OK to do but again try the paci first
