I packed my bag around 32 weeks also. Some people told me it was too soon. But I started having premature contractions at 34 weeks so I was comforted by the fact that it was packed and ready to go incase anything happened!
I brought 3 changes of clothes with socks and a jacket (you never know if you have to stay longer than expected). 2 outfits for baby with socks, hats, and a baby blanket. Toothbrush, toothpaste, hair ties, deodorant, hairbrush, shampoo and conditioner, body wash (I went to Walmart and got the travel sizes so that my bag wouldn't be too full). And my phone charger :)
I used body wash, face wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, some clothes to go home in, hair ties, and snacks. Ezra used three outfits sometimes he was cold, but the nurses don't like his legs covered cuz they do checks on their bottoms and it's a lot of work to undress them. Ezra didn't need much just the car seat

And the clothes I brought were comfy clothes. After having a baby you just wanna be comfortable!
