Am I wrong for not wanting to formula feed my baby? Like breast feed and formula feed? I would just…

nothing wrong with bottle feeding yes they say breast feeding is more beneficial to the baby but it's all about what you as a mom feel comfortable with and I am the same way I don't wanna breast feed at all and just tell your mil it's your child and you will raise him or her as you see fit you respect her input but it's not wanted at this time something along those lines I had to put my foot down with my mom and afterwards she didn't put in her input unless asked

vice versa with the breast feeding sorry misread it but you get the jist just put your foot down and do what you wanna do

it's your baby sweetie not your MIL read up on the benefits of both and make your informed decision. if you want to breastfeed then do it if not then don't.

I heard breast milk is better for the baby than formula .....but its honestly what your most comfortable doing for your child.....every pregnacy my husband tries to push me to breast feed every time i get pregnant, but i was too nervous so i did formula. i honestly think you should do what your more comfortable doing. :-)

Wait isnt your MIL hispanic? That's very different many are very very breastfeed people!

@be adsmom711, yes she is. She said I should breast feed and then also formula feed. I don't want to formula feed though and when I said that she looked at me like I was crazy.

My MIL is obsessed with me not giving formula at all. With my first i was unable to breastfeed cause they put me on some medication for pre-surgery 3 weeks later and she was FURIOUS! Lol

No need to formula feed if there's beneficial breastmilk available! :) breastfeed away!
