ok mommies I need advice. my son is 11 days old today. I have switched to formula and just breast feeding a couple times a day. my fiance as well as others have told me that I didnt need to set a three hour alarm each time to wake him up and feed him, they say he will wake up on his own when he is ready to eat. what is your advice? idk if i need to wake him up at the three hour mark each time or let him tell me when he is hungry. he will wake up when he is hungry before the three hour mark sometimes and i go ahead and feed him.

doesn't have to be exactly at the 3 hour mark but don't let him go 4hrs without eating. my son is 11 days old as well and this app I've been using called Feed Baby is amaaaaziing!!! you can track your feedings, when you change his diapers, his sleeping patterns, when you bathe him, pumping sessions, medicines, etc! it times how long you feed the baby then gives you reminders like "it's been 2 hours, check the baby's diaper" and so on. definitely recommend, I'm a ftm and don't know what I'd do without it
