My cousin just had her baby 3 months early. The baby was life flighted 2 hours away. I wanted to get them something, but I feel like flowers just die. Does anyone have suggestions of what to put in a goodie basket for them? She had a c section and can't leave the hospital to go see the baby until tomorrow. I was thinking a gas card, snacks!!! Any other ideas.

I agree on the change for vending and parking. One thing my family always gives to people in the hospital is a roll or 2 of quarters. Snacks are nice too! My little was in the nicu a month and people gave me a big bag of snack stuff like chips and granola bars, candy bars etc. it was nice. And also magazines were nice too.
@hooper14, coming from a mommy who's baby was also born early (C section also) and sent 2 hours away, she's probably not going to feel like eating much - just small snacks, hand sanitizer (you practically bathe yourself in it with a baby in the nicu) change for the parking meters and vending machines in the hospital was always helpful!
Find out if the hospital that the baby is at charges a parking fee. If they do then get a visa gift card to pay for parking when they visit.
All of her favorites. Favorite candy, pop, ect. All the good stuff she can't eat there at the hospital and a good movie to keep her mind off of the pain and her baby being gone. Sending prayers.
if you can print a picture of the baby and a nice frame so that she can at least see her baby while she gets discharged....
