after giving birth, vaginally, how long do i gotta wait to take a bath?

The nurses and my Dr said no baths or being submerged on any kind of water until after ur 6 week pp check up

Whaaattt??? I took a bath an hour after I gave birth. They recommend me to take baths to help heal. It also felt amazing in that area sitting in warm water. I would definitely check with the doctor.

@edomke, yea iv been wanting to take a hott bath but wasnt sure if i could..i had stitches down there but i think theyve already fell out or dissolved..or whatever it is they do lol...so i wasnt sure if i could

No you definitely can. Just don't use anything in the bath is what they told me except epson salts or however you spell it

my doctor told me no baths, no swimming, and no tampons until 6weeks. IG a doctors are different.
