Stay strong, strange question but important, is it legal to get an abortion in your state and is 17 or 18 an adult. Because I'm pretty sure it's 17 and she can't force you to have one against your will

My dads family is super strict and super religious and the same thing happend to me I'm 26 and scared to tell them and when they saw me in church they said I was getting fat in the stomach . I just said I didn't have spanx on and walked away . I know they will be furious bc I am not married but at the end of the day they will be mad at first but I hope there like my parents my parents just said they wished I would have waited till I was married but not they have know for about ten weeks and there out buying baby stuff and calling each other grandma and grandpa basically they learn to deal with situation . It is your constitutional right to make your own reproductive health choices, parents cannot impede on this one. I study law and I am all for parental and constitutional rights, but on this one, I do lean more towards wanting the parents to have say in this. Anyways, I had an abortion at 19. I was heartbroken for awhile, but you know what? I got to go to school and party and have some really great experiences that I would've never had if I had kept the baby. I had my next baby at 25 and looking back on what I got to experience over the years made me realize I did make the best choice. I'm not telling you what to do, just offering my story. stay positive . stay strong. being a minor I think your parent has a lot of say so . Hide the pregnancy from them until you are ready. and if they don't like it then idk what to say but that's your baby. !!

I just looked and legally they can't force u it's your choice and if u have to a judge will grant u guardianship of yourself until your 18th birthday!!!

I know the feeling I'm 17 and having a girl but my dad was upset at first but when I explained to him how I felt and what I wanted to do he understood because where not going to be kids for long and parents need to understand where growing up and are decision is are decision and they have to except it weather they like it or not that's how life is and a baby is a blessing and who knows a baby can have a huge impact on people ,😊 just keep your head up mama everything will be OK
