Same with us! People will be so happy to greet me and chat at get togethers then the second I introduce my husband they're like well I should mingle like wtf he speaks English you dumb asses! And don't get me started on the disapproving looks!

@tracynangel, @gabby0317 people are rude with my mom too because she has a heavy accent when she speaks English and always say she's catching an attitude and she'll say she isn't, she's just trying to get them to understand, and I'm like why are you working here if you don't have good customer service. I almost got out the car to punch the girl because she disrespected her. (before I was pregnant) people stare at us with these faces that make me so mad.

For real, its ignorant people who were raised by people who were raised that way as well... Cery sad it still happens. Hopefully it ends soon

I rarely have anyone talk me down rudely because of my nationality but it has happened. Crazy part is that it started after I got married lol! My husband is white & I'm Peruvian. There are some very old fashioned people that just don't like to see other nationalities combine. I think my hubs gets more hate when we're around Hispanics though lol.

@emc229, I don't get it though! like isn't it a good thing that the races are combining, you know? I just don't understand why people hate mixed couples.
