serious question... is there something physically wrong with a 7 year old who keeps pooping his…

Maybe he doesn't notice the feeling to go #2 I know my son actually still wet the bed and he is 9 either he doesn't know the feeling or his is lazy

Oh and he also sometimes runs to the bathroom because he has to poop and almost does it in his pants

my nephew will be walking around and poop himself... first time he did it it, we were at a park down the street and he ran off back to my house and pooped himself . 2nd time he did it on my watch, he ran into the woods with me and my bf and pooped . idk why he does it... @reaganmommy2015

I don't remember my brothers ever having that problem...

@momma_beffers, I don't think he knows when he has to go poop sometimes boys are not as mature as girls

I've had 5 year olds do it in my kindergarten class, and there's usually something psychologically wrong. Either gaining control, or getting the reaction from others is causing the child to poop himself and not the toilet. Is he fearful of the toilet itself? I've had children go to the poop clinic in the hospital and they would usually resume normal toileting mid year. 7 is a bit old for that. Have the parents sought help?

@tracynangel, he is not scared of the toilet . think he just waits until the last minute. we were in the woods and he couldn't poop in the trees until he told my bf that he thought he pooped himself and he said dont tell beth (me). and then he said he was going to poop in the trees after he already pooped himself .

Hmmm if it continuously happens I would take him to the poop classes offered at the hospital but that isn't typical

Hey girl, I was reading through your posts and saw this one. I have a cousin who is 10 and STILL poops in her undies. She has A LOT of behavioral/mental health issues so she sometimes purposefully does it to gain attention or because it's something that she can control since she can't really control her mental/emotional state. Does he have behavior/mental/emotional issues? There's so many things it can be.

@coraanne, he is the biggest class clown and has a big ego.. but gets really embarrassed
