I feel like my 9 month old baby never eats 😔 She weighs 16.5 pounds at her last check up and her pediatrican said that she is a little lean for her height but nothing to chunk her up or anything. She used to eat baby food 3 times a day but now she refuses any pureed food by spoon. I give her 3 meals a day of finger foods but I feel like she really doesnt eat much and most of it ends up on the ground (yayyy for lots of sweeping for me) shes super picky about what she eats too! She loves blueberries & bread so far the most and of course she likes to eat those little Gerber snack puffs. But im just feeling worried like shes not getting enough nutrition. Idkkk what to do??? Every where I go every one says comments like "shes skinny" or "shes tiny" & that makes me kinda mad like of course she a petite girl I mean im super skinny and so is her dad DUHH! (so this just turned into a rant/vent fast lol) I just dont know how to make her eat her food so she can plump up! This is all new to me being a first time mama, its hard😞

I have a petite girl too! At 1yr she was 19lbs, at 9mo she was 15-16lbs I think. Our pediatrician said she is just petite and following her own growing curve :) But I am very lucky that mine eats whatever we let her eat! lol The only thing she doesn't like is plain avocado so far lol If your pediatrician isn't worried, don't worry! And food before 1 is just for fun :) Babies get all the nutrients they need from formula/breast milk until they are 1. So if she's not wanting it, don't force her. Offer it to her, but don't worry if/when she refuses it :)

Ahhhh I remember when I was 39weeks and I was going a little crazy and I was like "I gotta get this baby out right now" I was so hot and uncomfortable. She didnt come that week, she decided to come week 40 on her due date! So hang in there mama its a waiting game I know but it can happen at any moment now! Your in the home stretch now 😊 Have you lost your mucus plug yet? @tracynangel

Seriously thank you so much for reassuring me that Im not the only one in the boat! It makes me feel better knowing that your going through the same thing. It must be normal...I heard "food before 1 is just for fun" and that formula is the main source so that makes me feel better too! I am gunna try giving her salmon and mushrooms this weekend :)) Thanks mama! @lp1988727

Nope no signs he's coming lol and they won't induce til 42 weeks which is fine cuz I don't want to be induced but still! Don't wanna go over!
