are u bottle feeding? if so he could be eating too much of maybe after each feeding he needs to burp a lil more so he won't throw up. His tummy is probably hurting from that milk u may have to change it. Also baby poo isnt suppose to be stringy . U say he is one week old ? he should be pooing what looks like soft lil seeds lol sorry tmi. If it's stringy its most likely that milk that's causing the problems . Give him a 1 ounces of pedilght or 1ounce of warm water not hot. Mother of three.

try burping him more. don't lay him down right after feeding atlease make sure he burps two-three times before laying him down. It's normal for them to throw up a lil just make sure its not a lot.

also when u see him throw up lay him on his side so the throw up won't go back in his mouth if he is laying on his back and if u do lay him on his back turn his head left or right so if he throws up while sleeping it will go out his mouth and usually babies are up doing nights because they have their days and nights mixed up. So him eating, peeing , pooing, sleeping for two-three hours then getting back up for same thing its normal . That's just what u will have to work with and sleep when he is sleeping. Good luck

omg well u should def get him checked make sure everything is okay. he shouldn't be throwing up that much.

Call his pedi and see what they say about it, they should have some sort of advice nurse for after hours.

He might have acid reflux. That sound a lot like my son. Call pedi asap. Don't worry he will be ok ☺️
