I have like 4 diff doctors that I see an who ever is on call when I go into labor is who delivers me. they all seem real sweet but one of them is very out spoken, an well I guess that's a good thing but every time I see her it seems like she's calling me fat! But in a nice way, like i "need to make better choices" food wise... Like does she think I sit around all day an just eat ice cream?... Cuz I don't lol ya iv gained some weight but that happeneds. just makes me feel bad like what an I supposed to eat I'm pregnant an nope can't have that... Just annoying...

i had a group of doctors to they were all nice except the man doctor he got a attitude and was rude towards me after I told him I don't agree with my cervix being checked before labor right after I said that he ended our appointment he asked me no questions about anything he literally only listened to babies heart beat for 5 seconds said sounds good see ya next time and walked out

I complained and switched to the midwife and when I told her why I switched she said he he thinks every mom should be checked starting at 35 weeks and anyone who disagrees is wrong ... I was happy with the midwife she was more on my side with what I wanted

@babygirl10-11, well that's good you were able to switch to someone you felt more comfortable with. When are you supposed to be checked? Is it bad to arohnd 35 weeks?

it depends on the doctor some don't start checking till 36 or 37 weeks and some doctors don't check unless you ask or if u have been having contractions

@babygirl10-11, ahh kinda weird you'd think thered be a set time idk just odd I guess.. So you didn't want him to check you cuz you felt it was to early or?

no I feel like theres no need to ok say they check you at 37 weeks and they tell you ur 1 1/2 cm ... your gonna keep stressing your self out about every little pain like am I in labor or when am I gonna start labor ... I would rather not know if I'm dilated until actual labor ... I did let my midwife check me 3 days before my due date out of curiosity and I wasn't dilated or anything but on my due date I went into labor lol

it was just pointless to me even my midwife said there is no real reason to be checked if your having a normal no risk pregnancy ... now some moms do need to be checked if there high risk to make sure they are not dilating to soon like if they have stitches in to keep their cervix closed
