So I finally get my cash aid and realize there is no way I can afford a place of my own here. I get a measly $378 a month and more than half if it goes to rent for being on mom's couch and savings toward some place to stay. But the apartments out here are like $675 - $1100 a month and I don't think I will ever afford a place here on my income.....this really bites. I can't raise my daughter on my mother's couch.... :(
