sometimes I feel like I've messed up my daughters life already by bringing her into a single parent household. I mean I was raised by a single mom and I turned out ok, but I had/have issues pertaining to men and I think it has a lot to do with not having a strong positive male influence growing up (sry the therapist in me analyzes everything). I just don't want her to face the same issues when she grows up, but I believe me and her father not being together Is for the best in the long run

Whose to say you won't find a guy who will be your prince and make for an awesome dad? And even if that doesn't happen, you get to love that baby & watch her grow and make all the decisions for her and make sure you give her the life you see fit. I was a single mom throughout my first pregnancy. Started talking to a guy when my son was 3 months old, he met my son when he was 5 months old, by the time my son was 8 months old he moved in with us and he has been THE BEST dad to my son. My point is being a single mom is ok, you shouldn't feel bad for it, but there's also a chance someone amazing can come into your lives.
