how long does it take to get used to breastfeeding. I have no idea how to tell if he's properly latched or not. after feedings the middle of his lip looks puffy.

he was probably sucking too hard lol , he must've really been enjoying that milk lol 😂

my doctor told me those are called sucking blisters and they are normal. she told me that it indicates a good consistent latch

if it's the middle of his top lip it's probably a nursing callous. perfectly normal even bottle babies get it. it kinda looks like a blister. it'll go away and come back randomly
