has anyone heard of something about a lawsuit towards zofran? the nausea medicine? my doc prescribed…

I've heard about it. It apparently causes birth defects. Some woman still take the chance and take it, others won't go near it.

if there is something going on with it I ain't taken it lol not taking the chance with my baby

ya I took it religiously, (seriously at the same time I took prenatal everyday) and my baby girl is fine (:

I've had to take it almost daily for months and my lil girl's growth is above average and is extremely healthy the doctor says

No I wouldn't worry too much. lots of doctors still think it's OK and a lot more babies have been born perfectly fine than with any issues from women taking it.

I had to take it with a previous pregnancy (I lost the baby but it had nothing at all to do with zofran) because I could not keep anything down. so I cut the pill in half and when I really needed it I just took a half and that worked.

If it makes you uncomfortable to take it ask about alternative medicine or look into natural remedies. But I don't think 3 days is any issues.

It does have some possible nasty side effects, but every medicine does. it's not common

I don't think it could've done much in 3 days. I wouldn't take the chance JUST IN CASE but not everyone's like that. Do what you feel is best

don't take it. I got prescribed too. I asked the nurses why they keep prescribing Zofran to pregnant woman if they know it's a lawsuit out against them and she didn't answer me one of the nurses got an attitude with me and told me if I want to stay nauseous I could. I asked the doctor he changed the subject . none of them will give you answers you want to know . they know that medication is only for cancer patients. but do they care? hell no . so , if you feel uncomfortable don't take it. I wouldn't . that medicine is the reason my daughter went through the shit they went through

I took it for about 1 1/2 month. They can change it to another one. I keep my faith positive that my baby is going to be healthy. But again it's like my midwife said any medication at pregnancy no mater what it is IS A RISK because no medications should be taken at the time of pregnancy. I agree. But if you feel bad taking it don't do it. I felt confident and I was doing really bad symptoms wise so I had to. I wanted to feel ok I mean how could my baby be ok if I wasn't ok. And Zofran helped for that month and half but I went back to rock bottom and they changed it to Diclegis and it works miracles. I still throw up I still feel shitty but not as bad as before.

i got prescribed it with my first and this one. they really dont have a lot of proof its doing anything because a lot of people that have took it and something happened to the baby was also on other meds and other things. my dr told me they would not prescribe it if there was a chance of it happening. my daughter came out fine when i took it

I def saw commercial about them being sued for Terrible side effects but I don't have any details
