I swear if my MIL makes a noise or says one more thing about my daughters name I am going to flip out!!!!

I'm having issues with my own mother having issues with a name that we haven't even set in stone yet... Ugggg why do others think they have a say in a baby's name!?

idk they don't seem to understand that its not their choice so they need to get over it

I told my mom what I wanted to name her and she had a hard time pounce it and she gives nick names of she can't say it like my niece who was born almost 3 months ago is named kahiah rose she calls her quiete in Spanish or whoever you spell it

@reaganmommy2015, it wouldn't bother me if my MIL gave my daughter a nickname but every time I say her name she makes a noise like she is grossed out by the name it pisses me off but I wouldn't mind a nickname

Regardless @nichole8790 its your child and in the end you can name your child anything you want so she needs to get over it

My MIL and GIL both do everything to make me miserable, and tried complaining about my daughter's name, we told them that's her name, and that's it, if they don't like it they don't have to be around here, it's our child not theirs. They both did the worst job at raising their kids, anything they say goes in one ear and out the other. Honestly, tell her to take her opinion, and shove it.

yea like my mom isnt exactly happy that I'm nameing my son after my dad but my husband said that I could pick the name and the name I came up with is a mixture of his dead brother and my dead father and he told everyone in his family that he didn't want anyone to judge the name because I named him from my heart and its not their child

I swear I hated that shit!!!!!!!! But I don't give a damn it's our baby we can name it what we want!!!!! And if thy don't like it they don't have to see it or say it if it's that big of a deal....
