why in the fuck do people say the placenta is just as painful to push out as pushing out the baby???…

I didn't feel it with my first pregnancy, but felt it with my 2nd. It was painful, but I wouldn't say it was as painful as pushing the baby out. Everyone's different though.

I think after getting Tannons head out that measured 96% size and a 3rd degree tear the placenta was nothing. I literally didn't do anything the nurses pushed on my stomach to get it detached and out.

I heard it was more of the pushing that the nurses do on your tummy that hurts, but who knows.

I've heard if the doc or nurse pulls the umbilical cord it hurts like crazy. It was painful, but not terrible when the nurse massaged my stomach to help it along. When it came out it felt super weird. Like a really huge blood clot and felt like the sound *blurp*. Very strange. that's my experience though.
