smh it's better you found out now as opposed to later. do what you have to do for you and your child because they're all that matters. they will look up to you and follow in your footsteps, so be the best example you can be for them. at least that's what I choose to do. I call my baby my little generational curse breaker because I plan to lead by example for her so that when her time comes, she will be in a better situation than me. I want her to know that raising children on your own is not normal and not the way its supposed to be

I really needed to hear that @helpedbytmh I just feel like he really let me down I thought he was going to be different everyone in my family thought he was the good guy turns out he had a few skeletons in his closet

it's a curse in my family (single motherhood) and I wanted to be the one to break it as well, but didn't. just remember everything happens for a reason and children deserve to grow up in the best situation possible whether that's with both parents or one. stay strong, God never puts more on us than we can bare
