I wasn't sure if I want my mom to be here when I'll be having a baby, because she and dad visited me in my first trimester and that was super stressful. At that point I didn't want to share with them such a happy moment.. But I felt bad about that, because they gave me everything and I wanted to give them this happy moment too..
A weeks ago my husband said its fine if they come, but he don't want me to stress. I told my mom that we don't mind them being here, but it has to be out happiest moment without worries and arguing.. And after that we were arguing in Skype for an hour. I just told her she has to have a plan.. I won't be able to drive them, I don't want to be stressed ... She, of course, took it personally. So after that talk I don't want them to come again... My pulse raised to 125 during our talk...
Last time my parents where here I was in my first trimester and it was hard enough. They don't speak English, they don't drive(my mom thinks my dad is a bad driver and didn't let him rent a car), so I was under such pressure, because I had to be their guide, worry about my husband and his work and worry about my upcoming final exams in college..

nope nope NOPE don't let them come. labor is intense as is. you don't need added on complications TRUST me. this is you and baby time. they'll get over it. and wait a week after baby (or a month) if you have to because recovery is a B-word!!! hormones will be intense and you'll find yourself crying for no reason as is. you don't need to actually have a reason so if they will stress you out more than help then don't even bother and don't feel bad either because especially if you are a first time mom you need love and support and SLEEP not stress. good luck honey, everything will be okay

@ce5ce, I feel so bad about that:( .. I don't have problems with my dad and he doesn't even try to hide that he really wants to see our newborn... I feel like a bad daughter... Luckily I've got time and I can think about it more, come up with some plan...

don't stress over it. you already said you get angry and your pulse goes through the roof. you have Skype. it'll have to do for now. you're not a bad as daughter. this is a vulnerable time. after delivery (I had a vaginal birth) and still felt like I was hit by a ton of bricks. I'm two weeks post partum and just starting to feel like myself

@ce5ce, thanks for sharing. I'll consider inviting them a month(or so) after baby is born...
