okay so I saw a video on YouTube when I was looking up membrane sweeps and this one girl said her midwife did a sweep and when she was done that she had her put her legs up like in the position like she's about to push and the midwife pulled her cervix pulled forward??? what is that called? BTW she said it hurt like hell! has anyone had or heard of this ?

@sharondap2005, I wonder if it's more affective then a membrane sweep or doing them both you would for sure go into labor...

i don't think that is wise at 36 weeks gestation.... what's her reasoning for trying to do something like that so early?

I said at 39 weeks they are going to do a sweep in one of my posts and I was looking up videos about it and a lady was talking about something g else she got along with it and I'm wondering what

it is and if it is more affective this is my 2nd baby I know they come on there own and not to try anything til 37 . I'm already measuring 42 weeks and at 34 weeks they said he was over 7.5 lb so they said I shouldn't even last that l9ng
