Idk if it's different from state to state but if your talking about apartments I believe both names have to be on the lease so if that's the case it really wouldn't matter

it's really about location he lives a few hrs away and wants be to move in with him there leaving my place, job and family plus I cant drive he has some good points on why he wants it that way but the way I see it if things do not work out I'll be away from my family....jobless and having to pack up and find some place to live....
