Heyy I'm Ariel, and that's my husband Marcel. I recently entered my 5th month, this will be our first baby. I'm going for a completely natural birth, absolutely no medical intervention unless there's a dire emergency, and I'm considering a homebirth. I'd love to know your experiences regarding natural birth, homebirth, or if any of you ladies have done a freebirth please share! <3

This is my first birth so I don't have any personal experience. However, I have a friend who had a home birth with a midwife for the last two of her three pregnancies. She is completely for a home birth. She recommends interviewing a few midwives to make sure you find the one for you.

@jjbutton Yes! I'm actually starting the search for my midwife this week, my first appointment is this friday. Although the place I'm going to doesn't do homebirths, there is this other place I'm checking out afterwards that only does homebirths.
@momofroyalty A water birth is what I want to do, however I am hearing different things about. 1st there are all these factors that play into being able to have a water birth ie: health 2nd those factors don't matter anyone can do a water birth unless you must be closely monitored

I had two midwives and I'm an lpn so I was closely watched and I prepared to the T it's actually rather difficult if u can't trust your body or can't handle the pain

What is lpn? I spoke with this girl Sam, who was going for a homebirth like she did with her first child, but this time she had to go to the ER and though she had to be monitored she convinced them to let her have a waterbirth. I'm not afraid of the pain and I've been feeling more attuned with what my body tells me.
