I would say yes, my son did that, and then would eat 1.5 hours later, and it was like this for 2 weeks. Babies tummies are tiny.

@mariceladez, my daughter has trouble latching on sometimes too. I gave to hold my boobs and harden my nipples for her and be patient for a wide mouth to latch on

you can pump every 2-3 hours. but if u dont continue to try to latch him, he wont ever learn to latch. Also sometimes if you become engorged, and u have a clogged duct, only baby can effectively remove all milk. ive had it happen twice, but it doesnt happen to everyone

he's been latching again. he just ate but I'm going to pump now so I have milk stored for when he's having a hard time. We have an appointment with a lactation consultant tomorrow so hopefully that will help @rachel8792

oh yeah it definately will. Just do what you normally do, and they will tell u if anything needs to change. I had to change things up 3 times haha
